It is not enough to just tell you about the quality of our sausages, hams & burgers. We believe in providing you with firm evidence about how, over the years, we have come to achieve the very high levels of satisfaction that all of our customers have come to expect from the products that we manufacture. We do this by being authorised to show you the following logo’s here on our website, or on our product packaging.
Institute of export business member
We at broad oak farm are proud to be supported by the IOE for our work in the export community.
Red Tractor is the UK’s largest food assurance scheme. Its respected food standards are used across the food supply chain to provide clear food labelling about the quality and sourcing of the Beef and Lamb products that we manufacture.
Red Tractor covers all aspects of the supply chain from farms to fork. This includes food safety and traceability, animal welfare, and environmental protection. The logo is not just about Farm Assurance. Standards must be met at every critical link in the food supply chain. The Union Jack in the logo indicates food has been farmed, processed and packed all in the UK.
Again, we are regularly and independently audited and are pleased that we continue to be awarded the right to apply the appropriate Red Tractor logo to those products that fully meet the Scheme Standard for each type of these meat species.
BRC Global Standards
BRC Global Standards is a leading food safety and quality certification program recognised worldwide. They guarantee the standardisation of quality, safety and operational criteria and it is a requirement that nearly all of our customers now expect us to achieve.
We are regularly, independently audited and our continued accreditation ensures we have and maintain Quality Assurance systems that fully meet our customers’ expectations with regard to food legality, quality and safety.
Meat Trades Journal Gold & Silver
We are honoured to have received prestigious gold and silver awards from The Meat Traders Journal.
Freedom food RSPCA Monitored
The RSPCA welfare standards cover every aspect of the animal’s life, including feed and water provision, their environment, how they’re managed, health care, transport and humane slaughter.
Amongst other requirements the standards ensure the animals are given a nourishing diet and a comfortable and stimulating environment which meets their physical and behavioural needs.
If there’s a Freedom Food logo on the packaging of the products we manufacture, you know the animals have been inspected to the RSPCA’s strict farm animal welfare standards. We have to maintain and provide full traceability records to their independent auditing body, whenever requested, to ensure only this specific origin of pork has been used in our Freedom Food products.
BPEX Gold Award
We are honoured to have received prestigious gold awards from BPEX.
